After weeks and months of enduring screaming fans, lust-maddened groupies and overwhelmed security guards begging for assistance on crowd control, Steven Hart has wrapped up the initial round of publicity stops for his book The Last Three Miles: Politics, Murder, and the Construction of America’s First Superhighway.

 

A second round of readings will accompany the release of the book’s paperback edition, which has not yet been scheduled. Meanwhile, the author welcomes invitations from bookstores, historical societies, community groups and any other organizations interested in an hour of so of murder, mayhem and warm conversation.
