Zombie mentality

If you’ve ever wondered how the “mirror neuron” theory applies to the behavior of people under attack by cannibalistic zombies — and, honestly now, who among us hasn’t? — you might want to check out this talk on the neuropsychology of zombies, delivered by a Harvard Medical School man, no less. Personally, I’ve always wondered why the walking dead don’t simply decompose, thereby ending the threat within a few weeks, but if George A. Romero and Lucio Fulci thought that way we wouldn’t have Night of the Living Dead or Zombie. (Bird dogged by Pharyngula.)
